CARING FOR YOUR GLASS VEIL™
Every Glass Veil™ arrives with care instructions sewn into the back of the tag — a quiet guide to help you keep her beautiful for years to come.
Here’s how to read the symbols:
Wash in mild temperature - 30° C or 80° F.
Iron at mild temperature - max 110° C or max 230° F.
Periodically, wash the liner duster.
Here is a short video to show these steps in action — simple, soothing, and true to the spirit of the Veil.
Fill up your sink or a shallow vessel with lukewarm water.
Add desired mild detergent. In the video I used liquid hand soap scent of which I like.
While vessel is filling up with water, lay out a towel, so you have a place where you rest washed Glass Veil™ to absorb water.
Dip Glass Veil™ in and out of water, rubbing gently.
Rinse Glass Veil™ under running water to wash off any soapy water.
Do not wring.
Lay out flat on towel.
Wait about 30 min or over night.
Ironing wet Glass Veil™ on low heat is also an option for a more pristine presentation afterwards.
Fold and place in linen duster.
