We recently were included in the gift bags of the 15th annual, unforgettable wine trip, taking 60 women of New York deep into the charming vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork.
This annual tradition is made possible by genuine partnerships, and we extend heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsor, Revitin, whose support continues to elevate this experience year after year. We are equally grateful to the incredible contributors who helped curate this year’s gift bags—each item chosen not just for its artistry, but for its role in enhancing a mindful tasting experience.
North Fork Wine Tour: Sunshine, Sips, and Sensory Souvenirs
Sunday, September 14 was truly one for the books—and the wine glasses! Our journey through the beautiful vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork was filled with sunshine, laughter, and the kind of memories that linger like a good Cabernet.
From the moment our buses departed NYC and Hicksville, the energy was electric. Tomatoes (and yes, a few tomato-loving guys too!) came ready to sip, savor, and celebrate. A huge thank you to Roni Jenkins and Anne Akers for capturing the spirit of the day!
Vineyard Highlights: Coastal Terroir and Craftsmanship
Our itinerary was a perfect mix of laid-back charm and Old World elegance:
-
Osprey’s Dominion welcomed us with its relaxed atmosphere and award-winning varietals. The Sauvignon Blancand Carmenere were crowd favorites, enjoyed under wide skies and among good company.
-
Lenz Winery offered a masterclass in Old World elegance. Their Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Francreminded us why precise craftsmanship and coastal terroir matter—and why this vineyard is a quiet legend.
-
Pindar Vineyards closed out our day with music, tastings, and sweeping views. As Long Island’s largest vineyard, it delivered bold blends and a festive atmosphere that had us dancing into the sunset.

Intentional Takeaways: Extending the Mindful Sip
While the fun and flavor of the North Fork are unforgettable, we wanted to ensure the mindful ritual of savoring could continue at home. That's why this year's gift bags were curated with intention:
The Glass Veil: A Sensory Reset. This unique, handcrafted accessory was included to drape over a glass of wine or water between sips. It’s more than a beautiful cover; it’s a non-digital cue. When the user lifts the veil, the genuine gemstones and charms create a signature, gentle clinking sound against the glass. This brief, audible cue forces a pause, bringing focus back to the drink and transforming an everyday sip into a moment of intentional, self-aware savoring—a perfect souvenir of vineyard tranquility.
Barrel-Art: Resilience Reclaimed. We were also thrilled to feature pieces from Barrel-Art, founded by Mike Prieto. His journey, turning aged staves and steel rings from wine barrels into elegant barware and decor, is a testament to resilience and the beauty of second chances. Each item allows you to bring a piece of the vineyard's history and craftsmanship into your home.
